Bernardo Fort-Brescia was born in Lima and spent his childhood and adolescence in Peru and Europe. He studied architecture at Princeton University and received his Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University, where he later taught. In 1977 he founded Arquitectonica in Miami with a group of young architects. The company quickly grew to offer bold and modern architecture. Today, Arquitectonica has projects in 58 different countries and has won numerous awards for its creations (City of Dreams in Macau, the Sequana Tower in Issy-les-Moulineaux or Le Méridien in Hong Kong).
Bernardo Fort Brescia has already been active in Luxembourg, as the architect of the Banque du Luxembourg's offices on Boulevard Royal. A double creation (headquarters + extension) that marks the identity of the main axis of the capital thanks to its majestic limestone facing harmoniously associated with the glass volumes.
For the INFINITY project, Bernardo Fort Brescia, in collaboration with the Luxembourg firm M3, was once again keen to impact the face of the city. Here, he proposes a project that takes into consideration the public of the neighborhood by proposing a new high-end reference in the areas of housing, work and shopping. "To unify these buildings of different proportions on this multi-functional site, I looked for a concept that brings together several elements. So I drew the plans like a Möbius strip, linking these different buildings closely together.
